From the darkest depths, to the highest reaches of the land, the evil of this world has begun to gather. An order devoted to the supremacy of a horrific reign has arisen from the chaos of the shattered world, calling to those who yearn for unimaginable power. Yes, your hunger has forced you to seek this order out like beast to its master.

Your journey brings you to the forbidding city of Ebonlore. You gather your courage and prepare to present yourself to the demon that awaits you inside. As you pause before the dread gate, heavily cloaked assassins standing just outside the inner wall motion you to step into the glowing crimson entrance portal. You pass through the sanguine door and are teleported inside; finding yourself in a dimly lit great room smelling of death and whispering of despair.

At first you stand anxious, your heartbeat echoing in the seemingly empty hall. But then a flicker in the corner of your eye catches your attention. You direct your gaze to an imposing dark figure lurking in the shadows. Strangely, you feel drawn to it as if your soul can taste the sweet agony that is to come. "You think you are worthy to serve the Queen?" howls a disembodied voice with the fury of a banshee. At the sound of this voice the shadows of the room begin to dance and flow like a dark wind, slowly revealing the one who stands within. When the shadows finally dissipate, you gasp at the figure that now stands in front of you - Ewle Ebonlore, Demon Queen of Ebonlore. Now is the moment you have long prepared yourself for, the culmination of your long journey. But even as you fall to your knees before her, her fierce gaze bores into you and your heart skips a beat. Grasping vainly for words of fealty worthy of the dread lady, you feel powerless to answer.

Her fiery eyes watch as you prostrate yourself at her feet. ???Ebonlore is not for the weak. From the chaos that has descended on this world I have forged an empire of dominion. If you would join my empire I will have your complete obedience in all that you do.??? As the words are spoken they resound in your ears like an iron gear, and you can feel the darkness they empower.

An effortless gesture draws an amorphous shape from the shadows, and the dark form of the Queen's familiar coalesces at her feet. ???Sooty, explain to this one what we would have of him..." As Sooty???s analytical gaze locks with yours; you see burning within them an aura of the power which you crave. Power both his own, and power given to him by his Queen.

"Only the most skilled of adventurers will pass the trials allowing them membership to Ebonlore,??? Sooty says with a scowl. "You must choose to leave your childish and selfish ways behind. It must be your desire to subjugate yourself to the will of your Queen, and of the legion she has called to serve as her council. It is to their standards that you will both be held to and measured against. Your commitment in time, your loyalty to the cause, and your eagerness to serve must be unwavering. Your skills will be tested against the finest opponents that this world has to offer. And if you are found lacking, you will be cast out into the streets as you have come to us ??? one of the wanting, needing, and weak multitude.???

Ebonlore power gamer, PVP, and raid guild. With a long standing history, experience, and success. We have been looking at Guild Wars and will give it a try, so we're looking for people who might want to try it with us. Also note that membership space will be limited.

History:
Ebonlore has been around since 1997 for UO.
In EQ we played on Emarr (Ebonlore), Torv (BoW), and SZ (Hate).
Shadowbane, and recently EQ2.
